With the Winter holidays fast approaching. Students are all celebrating after a long and challenging semester. I guess that all people would be glued to their laptops and television and snuggled under a doona but if we look back fifty years ago and wonder what sort of holidays they had with the absence of all the technology we take for granted.Also how did they ever keep warm in the Winter. They had no such thins as heaters,whereas in a modern household its a necessity. During the holidays there is lots of holiday homework and despite the fun we may have had, we need to buckle up and sit at the desk for a decent amount of time to finish these work off and have a fresh start to the next semester. For VCE students like myself. This is a foundation in achieving a good ATAR score in the next year. SO we must take this semester seriously and hope we learn from our mistakes. We shoul
d be improved by the past, due to the technological advances.
